Our Programmes

Grow

Our Grow programme offers a range of horticultural and well-being activities for people with learning disabilities to develop new skills and meet new people.  Participants learn about growing flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables engaging in outdoor and indoor educational activities under the guidance of our horticulture team.  Loving life also includes health and well-being activities including yoga, zumba, walking, mindfulness and creativity.

OCN level 1 Certificate in Horticulture

We also offer a nationally recognised qualification from the Open College Network that involves both classroom-based learning and practical ‘hands-on’ horticultural learning activities with life skills. The qualification includes the plant journey from seed to harvest (fruit, vegetables and flowers, communication and presentation skills and a work placement. No previous experience is necessary.

Public Horticulture & Well-being Workshops
